Jonah and I had a 'Mommy and Me' day. Granted it was filled with appointments, it was just us and I think that it delighted Jonah to no end. It was a good day!

We started off with a trip to the baby doctor. All is well, but Jonah was a little let down when I had to correct him when he asked if the doctor was going to take the baby out then and there. Um, no. I was hoping to do that myself, and preferably not in the doctors office. So I then showed him the hospital where baby was going to be born and I think he was more confused.

After we played at Gramma's for a bit and had a snack. Then we were off to lunch at Tony Romas for his free birthday dinner. Jonah chose my all time least favorite menu item on the kids menu - Kraft mac and cheese. Why anyone would pay $6 for a plate of KD is beyond me when they can make 4 plates of it at home for $1. But, since it was his birthday lunch, I let him. He ate the whole plate. I wouldn't have been able to eat half of it. Maybe I should order off the kids meal from now on.

Next stop was Jonah's 3 year check up with the doctor. As usual, he amazed both the nurse and doctor with his unusual compliance during the exam. The little man has grown only 2.5" since his 2 year check up, put on 6.5 pounds, and he is growing into his head! Only a half inch bigger than last year. :) So, he is 3' tall and 32.5 pounds. As usual, just on that border line between 2T and 3T clothes - so if his clothes seem like they are a little small or a little big for awhile, you know why!
