Since we've moved, Jonah and little Miss Avery haven't had much time to play with one another. And neither have their mommies! So, it was time for a visit.

Last weekend, her family made the trip up from Calgary and we had a full weekend together. First was a company picnic. Jonah and the kids took a look at the horse rides (Jonah graciously declined a ride), but first he and Benett had to check out the jumpy castle.

Joel and I were so proud of him. Again, a moment were most parents would not think twice about it, but Jonah has worked so hard at not only learning to jump this past year, but also on his balance. This was indeed a big deal for him, and he celebrated his new found ability and skill with many climbs up the ladder and slides back down. Go Jonah!

It was a long, hot day outside, but much fun. B Bear was sure to eat everything he could that afternoon. In a short 2.5hr window, he downed a full hot dog and bun, bowl of yogurt, banana, slice of watermelon, a slice of bread, cheese, grapes, oranges, and all the fruit from my salad. I'm sure there was more, but since it was over a week ago, it's hard to remember!

The next day, after the kids ran around the backyard, we headed off to the zoo. Yes, I complain about our zoo - it's hard not too when we were spoiled with the Calgary Zoo! But, I do compliment it on it's appeal for preschoolers. It really is the perfect size for them and a do-able zoo for a short day trip. Add in the carousel ride, train ride, and petting zoo, and the kids are always happy.

Little B's favorite? The spider monkeys and the bearded dragon lizards!

Thanks for the visit, guys! Can't wait for our next adventure in your neck of the woods!
