Some cute things about Jonah that he will definitely grow out of, that I keep meaning to record. Many of them won't come across as cute, or funny, but that's okay. He's a "you had to be there" kind of guy most of the time. So for those ones, they are here for us to remember.

  • When he says "no oh yes?!" with a very sharp inflection at the end.
  • When he asks "Mommy, you buy dis at Save On Foods?" for nearly anything I buy. Which reminds me of when he asked if Grandma and Grandpa bought their cars at "Save On Cars". Ha!
  • When he scolds Benett by sticking his finger in his face, telling him "No Benny, you don't do that! No!" complete with a scowl of anger and furrowed brow.
  • When he says good night to Benett. "Goodnight Benny. I see you tomowow. I wuv you vewy much." Kiss.
  • His running commentary on the mundane events of each day. Including, when he is in a rush to use the washroom. "I go pee, den I wash my hands with soap and wadah, den I tun off da tap, den I dwy my hans." Uh, okay buddy, you enjoy!
  • How he reminds us to put water in his juice cup. Yes, we still dilute his juice at age 4. You don't want to have this kid on too much sugar...it's frightening. I mean tiring. Yes, tiring, let's call it that.


And our all time favorite.

  • How he calls his sandals "sandcastles". Normally we are quick to model the word for him the correct way, but I just can't bear to do it. It's too cute!
