Last time we went camping was 3 years ago, when Jonah was right about Benett's age. It was a short lived trip, due to sleeping problems.

Who can blame a baby for poor sleep at a time like this? If you are used to a quiet, warm, and dark room to sleep in, and someone puts you in a bright, cold (or piping hot for naps), noisy, strange place, it's bound to cause problems.

So no shock that our super sleeper was a complete train wreck this weekend. Thus, we headed home after dinner the second night, but we still enjoyed the opportunity and the company.

We made sure that Jonah was able to enjoy the best things about camping at his age:

smores

jiffy pop

mini cereals
(or "wi-toe che-we-ohs" as he calls them)

eating outdoors

relieving one's self outdoors

campfire lounging

and of course,
fishing
