After we got the puppy, we went on another camping trip. The nice thing about Benett still napping is that it makes for a quiet drive. But of course, the kids still enjoyed staying in their sleeping bags even when it wasn't time to sleep.
We managed to try some fishing on this trip. No luck, but they still had fun.
After we got back, Grampa visited and Benett showed him one of his latest hobbies - dressing up.
Summer also means swimming lessons. Both had a great time. Neither passed their lessons, but that is par for the course it seems.
Cousin Declan also celebrated his birthday, so the boys got to have some fun together.
And Jonah and I went on a little date together as well. His minion came along as well. He's a cheap third wheel, so I don't mind.
As part of our date, we went to the Body Worlds exhibit. You can barely see Jonah here, but he thought this was pretty cool. We also saw this fish...inside of a fish. That was a first.
This is the second summer we have gone raspberry picking and the kids really enjoyed it. Far less mosquitoes this year. It has been nice to have them in the freezer for smoothies, ice cream, and making chia jam.
And of course, we saw some movies. Despicable Me 2 was in high demand this month.
And of course, we played outside quite a bit. Playgrounds, spray parks, the backyard, kids didn't care where.
Of course, playing in the water gets a bit chilly at times.
One night, we were headed to bed, and look who we found in our bed? A pleasant surprise. :)
And the resident furball grew quite a bit that month.
