Okay, no jokes this time. I promise. But before we go on, I had to include the photo of the cupcakes we made for April Fools Day. Spaghetti and meatballs anyone?

Of course, these boys would. They like anything silly since these two goobers are always up to something!

Spring has FINALLY arrived, and we wasted no time getting outside the first chance we had. Day after day, we were outside playing as long as able. Kudoos to Daddy for the awesome tunnel he dug them through the front yard!

And today we headed out to the Muttart Conservatory to test drive a field trip with 3 toddlers and one preschooler. Of the four, three showed me that they have no issue with taking off. Thank goodness for harness backpacks, strollers, and the threat of leaving/time outs on the spot! Everyday is a learning experience, right?

I too have a "bolter". I have no problem using a leash, my sanity depends on it. I actually found a cute little backpack at MEC yesterday with a detachable leash on it.
Unfortunately the bolting means I have barely gotten out since baby 2. I'm days away from crazy if spring doesn't arrive for real soon!
