We started out the morning waiting for a certain 3 year old to wake up. That's right, we had to wake Joner. I think he was worried that Santa hadn't arrived yet since he couldn't see his stocking on the end of his bed like he was expecting. So once I got him up and he saw it next to his door, he perked up.
We gathered on our bed and took inventory of our loot. Jonah got so much that alot of it ended up waiting for him on the floor. He did get his beloved orange that he asked Santa for, in case you were concerned.
Next we headed downstairs to "ope mo peasants".
Jonah got Buzz Lightyear from Santa and Benett got a ball that rolls around on it's own. Surprisingly, this ball is a hit with both boys. Not surprisingly, both make Mommy and Daddy a little more insane every time we hear them turn on.
After gifts, we ate a typical breakfast. Normally we would have indulged in our annual cinnamon buns, but given the previous nights events (Ben's extra neediness), we didn't have them. I'll make them later this week though.
Then, it was time to play. Don't worry, Jonah didn't forget about his "old" toys.
That evening, it was off to Gramma's for Christmas dinner. This is the only photo I got all night. Gigi tried to console Benny and did a great job for awhile, but as you can see, the croup just kept him down.
That or his cheeks. Ha ha ha.
I did manage to get a photo of Benett in his super cute sweater that she knitted him. Isn't he adorable in it? I have to get one of Jonah in his now.
That night we ended up making a pit stop at the urgent care clinic. Benett was assessed and given something for the croup as he was striding and having a difficult time calming down.
A Christmas not to be forgotten.

So sorry you've spent the holiday sick. We had a similar Xmas last year.
I love Benett's plaid shirt!
