I had to clarify that for some friends that were having this discussion on Facebook. Too funny.

Anyway, we are over the whole "rush out to get a deal" thing and have spent the last few years lounging at home. Unless there is some great deal to be had, we don't dare test our patience with those parking lots, or crowds.

So this year, we tended to a sick baby, a very excited preschooler, and had some good family time.

A sled ride was definitely needed - for multiple reasons. The fresh air knocked baby B out and Mommy got a break for a minute or two. Can you see the excitement in my face?



After the sled ride, Daddy made some yummy soup while Jonah and I shoveled and swept the walks (his choice, I swear). He kept saying he needed to sit for a bit. Must of been hard work!
