Jonah survived day two of preschool. It was FAR different from his first day. All 14 kids were there, the 6 teachers, and almost every parent. It was crowded and loud to say the least.

I managed to leave once for 10 minutes to get Ben to calm down and fall asleep, came back in, and then left 10 minutes later. He was fully immersed in block building and eating m&m's (a bribe to engage the kids for the first day).

I picked Jonah up and the report for the day was "You bit whaw. Bit" Which translates to "I cried for a bit". But he did have fun and the teachers said he did great. After class we played at the park for a bit which really made his day.

After school, we went home for lunch and then headed off to meet Daddy at the new dentist. Jonah did really well and came home with an aresenal of loot. The dentist and hygienists loved him. I loved the dentist. He was SO nice, and patient with Jonah. Really took his time with him, half of which was just spent playing with him!

Joel came out with clean teeth, as did I. But I also came out with a referral to an oral surgeon. Looks like I am a freak of nature that needs to be dealt with. Not only did I not get my wisdom teeth when most do, I do not have any (not even the buds) on my bottoms and my top right. My top left on the other hand, I have two. Yes, TWO. Very rare apparently. One has already come through and the other I can feel under the gum. I thought something was weird!

Since I am not able to take photos in the classroom due to FOIP, I leave you with this photo. This is Jonah's first official drawing. The other day he drew this while I was emptying the dishwasher (or doing some other 'mom' task) and called up to me "Mom, waaaaaww!". And thus, a very happy Popeye/dinosaur hybrid was unveiled to me. It think it's pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself.
