Tomorrow we are attending Miss Maddy's 2nd birthday party. She is the ever so adorable daughter of my good friend, Danielle. Anyway, I felt inspired to make her gifts for her instead of buying something. A few reasons.
1. My less than glamorous 'paycheque' for being a stay at home mom.
2. My increasing annoyance at having to pay for a gift that isn't worth it's price tag.
3. My desire to make something for gifts, and really put some heart into it.
4. Jodi. The supermom.

And so, in addition to Jonah's handmade ladybug birthday card, Miss Maddy will receive the following:
- an adorable apron which will match the one I will be making for her baby sister and mommy (baby Samantha will be arriving Wednesday next week!)
- and a matching bag with the same hand stitched felt heart
I hope she likes them! And don't be surprised if your next gift is homemade!
