He's not even here and yet I already find myself trying to keep all things fair amongst the kids.
We never had a mobile for Jonah, just really wasn't interested in them (or their music for that matter). When Jonah was at the age where most would probably start to remove theirs, I ended up making one for him. Mom and I were shopping, I came across one that I fell in love with, and decided to make it instead. Afterall, I am genetically predisposed to being cheap thrifty.
So, instead of spending $75 on it, I spent $10 at the craft store and made 3 of these, one for Jonah and two for friends that were expecting:

A few weeks ago, I came across his mobile. At first I planned to reuse it, but it just doesn't go with the room. My next thought was to keep it for Jonah. Well, wouldn't you know it, I immediately realized it just wasn't fair if he had one, but his brother didn't! So off to work I went. Here is the almost end product after just a short period of time. Oh, and the sheep does have legs - they just don't show well. But that doesn't make up for the fact that I hate his face and will be redoing it.

Love these.
They remind me of the ones in my Montessori book that they encourage you to make for your baby.
These are super sweet.
