This was a tough day for me, and Jonah as you can see. We saw a neurologist to have our follow up on the MRI Jonah had received. The plan was to see if it showed a suspected stroke, which could have been the cause of his delays.
Unfortunately, the pictures were inconclusive. The doctor did find something, but because of where it is and how it is taken, it could be any number of things, and there is no way to determine what exactly it is. So we went for bloodwork. And a lot of it. Jonah was incredible. I am in awe of how calm he was, how in control he was, and just how brave he was. He didn't even flinch at the needle going in.
After the bloodwork, we walked to the hospital for more tests to see if he was having or if we could replicate any suspected strokes. Or seizures? I can't recall - you'll have to forgive me! There is a reason I am not a doctor. The test was long, and Jonah was less patient as he could not even blink for some parts. This test came back clean, which was a relief. So that was that. No further answers, but at least we can rest easy knowing that many other things are not going to be an issue.

The rest of the month was spent as it should have been - being kids. Having water pistol fights outside.

Playing soccer. And that is the smallest KIDS jersey they had! :)

Of course, Uncle had to come over to wrestle!

We crashed Jonah's field trip to the zoo and I took the kids on my own for the afternoon. So we went on the carousel!

Benett has loved having his daddy home in the day for snuggles.

He also got to work on his bike riding. We take the kids to the nearby ice rink as it is perfect for practicing on. Our road is sloped and just not ideal.

  Why not?

We tried to go to the park nearly every day. Didn't succeed, but it's the thought that counts, right? ;)

I also really enjoyed taking Benett to Fort Edmonton one morning. Our city passes were expiring that day, and he really hadn't had the chance to enjoy it. The weather was beautiful and it was just me and him. We took the train, explored the fort, then walked back.  With a stick of course.

The kids also enjoyed some time with the grandparents. Benett always makes for an interesting photo.
