The boys began swimming lessons this month. Jonah is repeating the same class as last year, and is doing amazingly well. So much more confident this year. And Ben. Oh my. He loves the water. He also loves not listening and doing his own thing. Combine that with being a fitful child, and well, you can take a guess as to how tired we both are after class. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, just much different than last year. Aren't the boys looking cute on our way out to class?

This young man was obviously too tired to worry about how he fell asleep on this particular night.

No, I didn't post this photo to show our son's wonderful attitude that is showing itself lately. Instead, it is to show how he pulled his hood behind his ears without any persuasion.
Just like his daddy used to do.

And we've still been baking each week. The boys love licking the egg beaters and I'm still trying to explain why we sometimes can't lick them. Suffice to say, we've been doing more egg-free baked goods lately.

Making a police car for the kids.

And just for Grampa.

Moving on...

A cool and rainy weekend called for a trip to the big mall. We walked by all the sites - ice palace, waterpark, sea lion show, Santa Maria, Galaxyland... We even attempted to check out the fire breathing dragon which wasn't working. We later found out it hasn't worked for some time now and they may not fix it. What?! Either way, the kids had a blast.

We also made sure to check out the big pet store. The boys have never seen so many puppies! They were in love. And Dad, don't get any ideas!
