Such a busy few weeks we've had. And now, spring has finally returned - for good! We spent all day outside yesterday, including a picnic lunch which the kids loved. True to Alberta's weather, it is raining and cold today!

Easter came and went, signalling the end of the boy's birthday week with it. Joel and I can finally relax a bit! Bits of birthday celebrations still litter the house, including a few balloons hanging on to their last breath of helium, packaging left over, and cards waiting to be put away.

Here are a few more pictures from their birthday week.

Hugs after trading presents

Headed home after the annual Red Robin birthday meal. No trip to RR is complete without balloons!

Benett's birthday cupcakes.

Jonah and Benett got each other gifts this year, and were more than excited to give and receive. I can now post photos of Jonah's new bike. He wasn't actually very excited, believe it or not. He wanted another gift in addition to his bike. I just didn't know what to say, so I laughed. He cried. Whoops.

No worries, he was happy later on and says he is glad to have a bike. He really does enjoy riding it, and it will take some getting used to (as well as growing into!). Here is his new helmet he picked out and in turn, received from Grampa. Here they are skypeing.

Of course, his brother had to get a new bike. Thank goodness there was one waiting in the garage for him!

And they are off.

Slow.

Like snails.

For Easter, the boys enjoyed their annual string maze to their baskets, and each got a few gifts and treats. A good peek of what was to come that weekend, with MANY gifts and treats for both. To say they are spoiled would be an understatement! That said, we appreciate everyone's love and gifts for them - thank you!
