I can no longer say "we'll do it next year, we have time". Next year is upon us, in fact, the first month is gone.
And now, the mad rush is upon us to get our 'to do' list done in T minus 2 and a bit months.

First with Jonah:
-potty training....done!
-apply for kindergarden (what?!)....done! (I must note, he is VERY excited at the prospect of getting to ride on a school bus, but since he lacks the concept of time, I think he will be sorely dissappointed in no time and think we are big fat liars)
-encourage 'big boy' independance...we're on our way.
-get him excited to be a big brother...again, we're on our way. He has his days and we're sure it'll be no different once baby is here.

Baby:
-paint the room ... this weekend's main event (you're jealous it's not you painting, aren't you? Go on...admit it!)
-fill and decorate the room...the 2 weeks following fresh paint (in fact, I *just* got off the phone ordering a new glider!)
-sewing mania. I am going to make change pad covers and slings! Never done either, so this will be interesting to say the least!
-have the baby...sorry I couldn't answer this question better, which was particularly amusing to me when my dear sister in law asked when I thought I would have it.

Other things to do? Well, Dad and Aaron, the backsplash is actually pencilled in on the calendar! Can you beleive we are actually planning on finishing it - er, starting it?!
We also have to empty our garage so I can finally park in it. I know, spring is around the corner and we are just emptying it now to park the car in it for a whole 2 months before my work takes the car back. Pathetic, but warm weather is something we needed before being able to tackle this project. At least we left enough room to access the freezer so I could get my Dilly Bars. ;)
And last on the list is to put shelving up in the storage room and reorganize that!

Could our lives be any more intriguing?
