A little update on Jonah's speech.

Since his appointment at the beginning of October with the speech pathologist, we have been writing down each new word Jonah says on the calendar - on the day he says it. This has been very helpful to us in having a visual as to how well and how fast his speech is improving.

A little background as a reminder: Jonah has said many, many words, but only has a handful that he has repeated. The rest go into the memory bank for a rainy day when he decides that talking will be a useful tool one day. Why talk when you can communicate as effectively as a mime? Without the creepy part...

So, the big news! On Sunday, all the words he said ran over into Monday's box on the calendar! And, he has repeated about half of them several times, they have become part of his regular vocabulary! In total, we have about 10 words from Sunday alone. My favorite? Please, or as Jonah says it "plee?" So cute.

We certainly aren't getting our hopes us that this may be our very late word spurt, but either way, we are very proud of our little munchkin. :)

Go Jonah!

Oh, and also very cute? Jonah will point to Mommy's tummy and say "Bebe!".
