It's been a hot summer so far. Heat, thunderstorms, mosquitoes. But that's okay. We're trying to make the most of it. So far we have gone camping, made a road trip to Calgary, had day camp, swimming lessons, and lots of days outside including meeting classmates at the park.

Now that I am no longer watching other people's kids, I have more time for mine, and I LOVE it. I've started working part time in a show home, which is a great chunk of 'me' time which I was so desperately missing, and my Vemma is picking up, which I also love. It's been awhile, but I am glad to be doing something for myself again. It's been great to have the kids not have to share me or their toys and to just be able to go on our own routine, or off if we so choose.

Jonah requires more attention with no school, but that was expected. And Benett is proving to be quite the firecracker as usual. That said, he is without a doubt, super sweet. Of everyone, he is having the hardest time with me working out of the house again. He is also on his 2nd pair of glasses due to a fall on the sidewalk ruining his last ones. Bets on how long this one will last? I joke that he needs a helmet for daily use since he tends to trip so often and straight onto his face!

Joel is plugging away at work as usual, but was able to take some time off to go camping the other week, which we all were very thankful for.
