We took some time this month to take advantage of the warm weather at the beginning of the month and to expose the boys to some additional outings that we don't normally partake in. First one was mini golf. Let's just say that for a man that normally would golf to unwind, he would not want to go mini golfing with our kids.
Mr. Ben was slightly, erm, not fun. He is in a 'me do it' phase and let the entire place know it. Couple that with a bad nap, and ya. It was fun. I just did my usual and shrugged it off. Yes, Benett had to take a moment to 'cool off', which looks exactly the same as a time out, but it was a learning experience, right?
We also took the boys bowling this month. This went much better, but was still a bit of a chore with Benett. I was happy to let him do it on his own, but whether it was a worried mother, or memories of a concrete sidewalk block falling on my toes as a preschooler...I just wasn't comfortable with him carrying around a bowling ball with ONE hand on a slippery floor in shoes 3 sizes too big. In the end, the boys had a blast.
This is what we got to look at each time Jonah threw his ball. Shall I archive this one for his wedding? ;)
End game score.
Thanksgiving with Uncle Collin. Always interesting! The boys absolutely adore their uncle, and you can see why.
Until Halloween...because you all know I won't post before then. ;)
