I realize we live in Canada.
I realize snow is inevitable.
As is shoveling.

I also realize during this time that it is important to be thankful for a warm home, and of course, an amazing husband who is willing to be out there well over an hour shoveling the driveway. Oh, and an amazing little four year old that is willing to help his daddy out.

Hot chocolate is definitely waiting upon his return.

And of course, I am also thankful for quiet time. Always have been, always will be.
Because yesterday was a snow day. Which meant I had a very excited boy on my hands when he found out there was no school. While his brother was napping, we played some Uno (his new favorite) and made some blueberry bran muffins to mark the occassion.

And then it was quiet time.
