This weekend is Benett's first Easter! He missed it by just one day last year, just like his big brother when he was born. Jonah was well prepared this year, mostly thanks to his teachers at school. It's been a daily question around here, having him continually asking "How many days to Easter, Mommy?".

So, we started Easter a bit early, decorating eggs this week and having an Easter egg hunt at home. We ended the week with dinner at Gramma's house. It was yummy and Jonah actually ate more than just a bun!

Then yesterday, I took him on a Mommy/Jonah date to a local church that was having a community Easter egg hunt. Jonah was utterly exhausted from all of the excitement, and had a blast.

This morning he awoke and was slightly perturbed that not only had the Easter bunny tied a string to his door knob, it failed to leave his basket outside on the porch like last year. Eh, he'll live. Jonah followed the string and all of it's possible routes, finding his basket on the second try, but only after he was sure to eat the jellybean at the end of the first string.

He received a new Wonder Pets video that he has been harassing us for, some stickers, and of course, some chocolate.

Little Bean got a "Mama, Where Are You?" book (ah, so appropriate for him!), and a new outfit. I think he liked the rafia grass in his basket the best though.

This afternoon it's off to have Easter with the other half of the family, we'll see if Jonah can eat more than just a bun this time around too!

One other thing Easter brought Ben? Another new tooth. He got his first 3 weeks ago, another just a few days ago, and is currently cutting his 3rd as we speak. He's been a trooper and is still as smiley as ever.

Happy Easter everyone!
